Year For Priests: June 19, 2009 - June 19, 2010
Faithfulness of Christ, faithfulness of priests
Pope Benedict XVI has declared a “Year for Priests” beginning with the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus on June 19, 2009. The year will conclude in Rome with an international gathering of priests with the Holy Father on June 19, 2010.
The Pope has also announced that St. John Vianney is the Universal Patron of Priests, on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Curé d’Ars.
Please pray for our priests that they may always be faithful to their sacred calling.

Parish Festival July 17 and July 18: Mark your Calendars
The ever popular St. Barbara Parish Festival is coming to our parish on July 17 and 18. There are several new things coming as well as the old favorites.
We are always in need of volunteers and donations. Volunteer signups can be made after mass or anytime during the week in the Parent's Alcove.
Pick up a book (or more) of raffle tickets after each mass or anytime during the week, in the Narthex.
Join us for the event of the season, full of fun and festivities. See you there!
Catholic Youth Day, Friday, July 24:
The Diocese of Greensburg is sponsoring Catholic Youth Day at Idlewild/Soak Zone on Friday, July 24. Join youth from around the diocese for a day to remember! The event is open to all high school and middle school students, their families and friends. Registration deadline is June 10. For tickets and more information, consct the Formation Office.
