This form provides an online option for informing us of your preferences for Disciples in Mission. For the six weeks of Lent, we invite you to join a small faith-sharing group, a teen group, and/or participate with your family. If you would like to form a small faith-sharing group with your neighbors, that would be great! For more information, please contact one of the Disciples in Mission Small Group Coordinators:
Mary Beth Homick: 412-389-5876
Bob and Mary Beth Coughlin: 724-744-0010
Please complete and submit this form by February 5, 2009.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION.
Disciples in Mission is a way for parishioners to follow Jesus more closely as His disciples. It involves us in small faith-sharing groups for adults and teens, in praying, in family activities, and in opportunities to learn about Catholic Evangelization.
Small groups of adults or teens will meet once each week during Lent to discuss/reflect on the Sunday Scripture readings. Here, the Word of God will come alive and you will be able to relate it to your day-to-day experience. No background in Scripture or Theology is necessary. Each person participates in discussions as much or as little as they wish. You will learn more about Scripture, hear God speaking to you through His Word and meet interesting people.
Generally, small groups are formed according to the day/time preferences expressed on the sign-up card. However, small groups of men or women only are also available for those who prefer that option. Accommodations can also be made for those wishing to form their own neighborhood or special interest groups.
We encourage parishioners to “swap” babysitting favors with friends who may be participating in a small group on a different day or time.
Cost of materials is about $5 per person. We are planning a free-will offering to help defray costs of the program.
