A Thank You Video from the USMC in Afghanistan
In 2010, St. Barbara's initiated 2 letter-writing and package campaigns for active-duty military serving in war zones; these personnel are serving in Army, Navy and Marine Corps locations in Iraq and Afghanistan. We connected with the community and schools, including Queen of Angels, received visits from local Marines, and participation and thanks from around the world. In August 2010, we received a vial of sand, the MWSS-274 Coin, and the U.S. Flag flown on behalf of St. Barbara's over Camp Leatherneck II, Helmand Province, Afghanistan from Marine Wing Support Squadron 274. This past week, we opened a DVD from Marine Wing Support Squadron 373; we would like to share it with you - please view the video below.
