The parish finance council is a consultative body that collaborates with the pastor. The pastor and council represent the parish and are accountable to the bishop and parish for the financial resources of the parish. The expectations of the council include monitoring the business practices and procedures of the parish and to ensure a long-range financial plan that supports the parish mission. Canon Law mandates that each parish have a finance council.
Finance council members are appointed by the Pastor.
The Finance Council meets the third Monday of each month. Check the bulletin for exact date and location.
