Baptism

BAPTISM is celebrated at 1:00 PM on the first and third Sunday of the month, and within the 5:30 PM or 12:00 Noon Mass on the second Sunday of the month. All couples anticipating the birth of a child are asked to call the parish office to make arrangements for a Blessing for Expectant Couples, which will take place at any Sunday Liturgy on the first weekend of the month. All couples will be expected to participate in Baptismal Preparation, ideally at least four months before the expected birth date of their child. Session I discusses our faith journey and why we are asking to have our child baptized in the Catholic Church. Session II will cover the baptism ceremony. After completing both sessions, couples should contact the Parish Office to schedule the Baptism.

NOTE: During construction, Baptisms will take place after the noon Mass on the first, second and third Sundays of the month in the Social Hall

Matrimony

MATRIMONY If you are planning to be married you must contact one of the priests at least six months prior to date of marriage. Anyone who is married in a civil ceremony and wishes to sacramentalize the marriage should contact the pastor. All engaged couples are required by the Catholic Church to receive proper instruction prior to the wedding. Participating in the Marriage Preparation Sponsor Couple Program, the Afternoons/Evenings for the Engaged or an Engaged Encounter Weekend will fulfill this requirement. In addition, there will be appointments with the priest to discuss other aspects of your marriage, to complete the necessary pre-Marriage forms and to plan the Marriage Liturgy.
