It is our expectation that next year's 5th graders will be Confirmed in the next school year. Families will be notified as soon as we receive word from the diocese.
The Diocese of Greensburg continues its plan to raise the age of Confirmation to 13 (grade eight). Saint Barbara is in Block 2. Here is the latest update for the diocese plan as it pertains to Saint Barbara.
“All parishes in Block 2 should be aware that no dates for Confirmations during the 2013-14 catechetical year have been decided upon.”
