Matrimony
- Engaged couples are to call the Parish Catechesis Office at 724-744-4885 to schedule a wedding date upon your engagement or at least six months prior to the wedding date.
- Matrimony is celebrated according to the cannon law and traditions of the Catholic Church. All engaged couples are required by the Catholic Church to receive proper instruction prior to the wedding. To fulfill this requirement the Church offers (you need to attend one of the following):
- For Better/For Ever, the Sponsor Couple Program
- The Engaged Encounter Weekend
- The Day for the Engaged
- In addition, there will be meetings with a priest to complete your wedding arrangements.
Couples married in a civil ceremony may consecrate their marriage through the sacrament, please call the Parish office to schedule.
