 The Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage

Exploratory Meeting: Saturday, December 1, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., Room 106
Have you ever considered walking the Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage? Some of you have seen the 2011 Martin Sheen movie, The Way, and wondered about that pilgrimage. Deacon Harry Clyde has walked it twice and will walk it again in 2020. It is a 481 mile walk with God, but you only have to walk the last 71.94 miles to receive the Compostela certifying that you have completed it.

Deacon Harry Clyde is working towards establishing a Western PA/Eastern Ohio chapter of the American Pilgrims on the Camino. The mission of the chapter would be to provide support to pilgrims, past, present and future and to have fun in the process. The first step toward establishing a chapter is to have an exploratory meeting. Whether you're an experienced pilgrim, or are yet to experience your Camino, does the idea of bringing the spirit of the Camino to our area by getting together with fellow pilgrims and interested parties during the year for outings, Camino presentations, tapas, and potlucks sound good to you?

Please RSVP to Deacon Harry at to let him  know if you plan to attend and how many family/friends (if any) you plan to bring with you on Saturday, December 1.
