​At St. Barbara we have many different service opportunities that can fit your busy schedule and interests. A listing of service opportunities in the coming year (2019-20) are listed below. We ask that you review the listing below and if you would like to help, sign up online using the provided link. Please keep in mind that all who volunteer to serve in our community, if 18 years of age or older, must have all PA and diocesan required clearances.

​The After Party
​Assist with the students arrival at the door; replenish food and general supervisory duties.

​Foundations of Faith
Dinner Help
​Help serve food, prepare beverages for the families involved in Foundations of Faith.
​Sept. 11 &  25; Oct. 9 & 23; Nov. 6 & 13; Jan. 8 & 25; Feb. 12 & 19; March 11 & 25; Apr. 22
4:30 to 7:00 p.m.
​Car Cruise and BBQ
BBQ portion is catered and the car cruise is on campus. There will be raffles, DJ, beer tent, etc.
​Set up Sept. 7 10:00 a.m.
Help Day of Event 10:00 a.m., to 1:00 p.m., or clean up 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
​Oktoberfest
​An evening for our guests 21+ complete with the beer truck pouring fall favorites and delicious German food and music.
​Set up Oct. 4: 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Day of Event
Kitchen Help: 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Serve Food 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Clean Up: 10:00 p.m.
Mass of Remembrance
​Prepare a reception for those families of our parish who lost loved ones this past year. Cookies, punch and coffee are typically served. Mass is at 7:00 p.m., and the reception immediately follows.
​November 4
7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
​Anointing Mass
​Lunch is served to all those who attend the Anointing Mass. Lunch is catered and volunteers are responsible for making drinks, covering tables, serving food and clean up. Attendance averages 60 people.

Environment and Art Christmas Set Up
​Assist those who prepare the environment for Christmas by setting up a light breakfast in the narthex. Attendance averages 20 people.

Fish Fry Committee Members
​Help serve and coordinate the Fish Fry 2020 which runs February 26 to April 3. 
​Social Hall Set Up: Fridays 10:00 a.m. to Noon
Food Order Intake: 1 hour each week - usually Wednesdays 11:00 a.m.
Clean Up Lead
Lunch Time Delivery Driver: Fridays 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Devout Brewing Delivery
​Environment and Art Palm Sunday Set Up
​​Assist those who prepare the environment for Palm Sunday by setting up a light breakfast in the narthex. Attendance averages 20 people.
​April 4
8:00 a.m. 
​Holy Week Hospitality
​The servers for these two liturgies arrive and rehearse two hours prior to the start time. Since this encompasses dinner and lunch, a light meal is served. Involves ordering, picking up and serving approximately eight people.

Confirmation Reception
​Tray cookies, make beverages, clean up for this special event. Bishop Malesic is present at this reception.

Graduate Mass
​Assist with brunch for graduates and their families in the Social Hall after the 8:00 a.m. Mass.
​May 17
8:00 to 10:00 p.m.
​Father's Day Event
​Organize and implement a social after morning Masses for our dads on Father's Day. After the 8:00 a.m., Mass donuts and coffee; after the 10:30 a.m., Mass hot dogs and chips.
